Role & Responsibilities: Lead the health pricing function, setting pricing strategy and providing technical direction to ensure products are commercially competitive, financially sound, and aligned with business objectives. Oversee actuarial analysis, pricing models, and assumption setting for health products, ensuring robust technical review and sound recommendations to support management decision-making. Act as the key health pricing lead in working closely with product, underwriting, claims, finance, distribution, and other stakeholders to align pricing recommendations, product design, and implementation plans. Monitor portfolio performance, market developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify risks, opportunities, and required pricing or product actions. Lead engagement with the OIC on pricing and product-related queries, providing technical explanations and working closely with the regulator to support mutual understanding and ensure compliance with health insurance regulations and filing requirements. Lead, coach, and develop junior team members by providing day-to-day guidance, technical review, work prioritization, and support on stakeholder communications to build a strong and capable health pricing team. Manage pricing governance and support product approval processes, including preparation of pricing justifications, review materials, and submissions required for internal committees and regulatory approval. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. ASA or continues professional education through taking and passing actuarial exams is preferred. Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in health insurance pricing or related actuarial field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in actuarial software and tools (e.g., SQL, Prophet, Excel, AI). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of health insurance regulations and market dynamics.
