Graduate Backend Engineering Programme - Paris

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend services using modern JVM technologies (Kotlin, Java,
• Spring)
• Support the design and development of scalable, reliable systems
• Work with APIs, databases and service-oriented architectures
• Learn how to write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver user-facing features
• Gain exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerisation and CI/CD pipelines
• Assist in debugging, monitoring and improving system performance
• Gradually take ownership of well-scoped technical projects
• You'll learn how backend systems are built, deployed and scaled in a real production environment.
• WHAT WE LOOK FOR
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong foundations in programming (Java, Kotlin, or similar)
• Understanding of core computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms,
• APIs)
• Exposure to backend development through projects, internships or coursework
• Curiosity about distributed systems, scalability and system design
• Fluent English (written and spoken) - all communication and collaboration is
• conducted in English
• Structured thinking and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
