Education: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (D.Ph.) degree required.
Experience: At least three (3) years of progressive leadership experience required.

General Description:
The Manager of Pharmacy - Inpatient is responsible for the day‑to‑day operational leadership of assigned inpatient pharmacy services, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of medications. This role oversees staff performance, workflow execution, inventory and technology systems, and regulatory readiness while collaborating with interdisciplinary clinical teams to support high‑quality patient care and operational performance.

Provides day‑to‑day operational management of assigned inpatient pharmacy services in alignment with hospital goals, standards, and patient care priorities.
Oversees pharmacy operations to ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality, safe, and effective pharmaceutical care.
Actively participates in and provides oversight of pharmacy‑related information systems, including the electronic health record, automated dispensing cabinet systems, sterile compounding systems (e.g., TPN), controlled substance inventory systems, and smart pump drug library maintenance.
Addresses pharmacy‑related patient care issues through collaboration and communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintains oversight of inventory management and supply chain activities for assigned inpatient pharmacy areas.
Supervises pharmacy staff, including interviewing, hiring, coaching, performance management, and corrective action as necessary.
Supports professional development of staff through delegation, ongoing feedback, counseling, and completion of performance evaluations.
