Job Description
Maintain day-to-day planning, ordering and expediting of raw materials and supplies, and then communicate results to all appropriate departments. Schedule and maintain work center schedules to accommodate customer orders.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associate degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient computer skills in both word processing and spreadsheet manipulation
- Knowledge and experience with SAP, MRP and PRMS required
- Strong and effective negotiating and communicating ability
- Knowledge and ability to work with and resolve problems regarding stock (delivery, quantity, etc.) with both outside suppliers and internal customers as necessary
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize and remain calm in a fast-paced and stressful environment
