Responsible for the timely and appropriate response to employee questions, improvement suggestions, and concerns.
Provide timely and accurate Performance Evaluations to team members.
Performs accident investigations, STOP observations, safety audits, and may be requested to perform explosives audits.
Required to communicate essential daily departmental activities to supervisor responsible for the next shift, ensuring smooth operation of the area.
Responsible for the accuracy of the inventory, working with the cycle counters to understand discrepancies, discover the root cause for the discrepancy, and take appropriate corrective action to prevent future occurrence.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as dictated by the business needs and conditions.

Experience you bring:
An Associate's degree from a College or University (Business, Industrial Management or related field is preferred, but not required); and two years of supervisory experience in a machine-oriented manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
Must possess a solid understanding of safe work habits, manufacturing processes, inventory control, and quality control methods.
Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar) and an automated time and attendance system preferred
Thorough knowledge and demonstrated use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint prefer

Remington is seeking a Production Supervisor to provide direct, daily leadership to hourly employees in his/her assigned manufacturing area, focusing on core operational values of safety, quality, cost management, and conformance to production schedules to satisfy customer requirements. This position reports to the Sr Manager Factory Operations and is based out of our Lonoke, Arkansas office.
Shift:
The role operates on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule with fixed 12-hour shifts (day: 4:45am - 5:00pm or night: 4:45pm - 5:00am). You will work 2 days, have 2 days off, and work 3 days, providing a three-day weekend every other week. Please note: occasional overtime may be required based on business needs, which may impact scheduled days off.
Training will be held during the first two weeks, Monday through Friday on the day shift, prior to transitioning to the assigned rotating schedule
