Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast enhanced radiographs of cardiovascular and peripheral systems during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
Monitor patients' blood pressure, heart rate, electrocardiogram (EKG), and oxygen saturation during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses.
Demonstrate knowledge of common cardiovascular and peripheral diseases as well as abnormalities.
Exhibit understanding of common medications used in the cardiovascular lab.
Understanding of diagnoses of cardiovascular problems, assist with medical imaging radiography to diagnose heart conditions, vascular problems
Set up, monitor, annotate, and finalize images of cardiovascular and/or peripheral procedures.
Prepare and position patients for both cardiovascular and peripheral procedures.
Obtain and record patient identification, medical history and test results. Explain testing procedures to patient to obtain cooperation and reduce anxiety.
Set up and operate electrophysiology specialty equipment including but not limited to 3D mapping systems, stimulation systems, intra cardiac echocardiography and EP monitoring and recording system.
Check, test, and maintain cardiology equipment, making minor repairs when necessary, to ensure proper operation.
Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures (PCI, Rotoblator, IVUS, etc.)

Requirements
Bachelors Degree in related field required
1+ years of experience in cardiovascular intervention, or imagining services required
Experience in a cardiac catheterization or angiography laboratory preferred
RCIS or RCES required
