About the role
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director, Mergers & Acquisitions to lead and drive the company's inorganic growth strategy. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of M&A activities, including acquisitions and potential divestitures, while partnering closely with senior leadership and private equity stakeholders. The Director, M&A will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing transactions, as well as supporting integration planning to maximize value creation. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Lead the development and execution of the company's M&A and divestiture strategy in alignment with senior leadership and private equity sponsors Evaluate potential acquisition and divestiture opportunities, including strategic fit, market dynamics, and financial impact Prepare and review key transaction materials, including teasers, CIMs, management presentations, board materials, and investment memos Manage end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, from initial diligence through signing and closing Coordinate cross-functional diligence workstreams, including financial, operational, legal, tax, IT, and commercial areas Oversee transaction timelines, data rooms, diligence trackers, and key deliverables in partnership with external advisors Support negotiation of deal terms in collaboration with senior leadership and legal counsel Lead divestiture activities, including carve-out analysis and operational planning Partner with internal teams on post-close integration planning and execution Track deal performance and synergy realization against investment objectives Maintain and support acquisition pipelines and integration frameworks Serve as a primary point of contact for private equity sponsors on transaction-related matters Provide clear and concise updates to executive leadership on deal progress, risks, and decisions Important Details: The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $164,100 to $246,100 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs.
