Involved in Injection Molding optimization and improvements in a high-speed manufacturing facility.
Responsible for learning injection molding operations and the change controls related to his/her assigned initiatives.
Contributes to program updates to senior-level stakeholders.
Actively participates in continuous improvements to communications metrics to achieve higher levels of business impact.
Monitors impact through various channels of feedback for demonstrated results.
Minimum Qualifications for Co-Ops:
Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to co-op, and at least one additional semester following your co-op.
Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related major.
Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e., extracurricular activities or projects)
Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis. Students on an F1 visa with CPT work authorization may be accommodated.
Ability to commit to a semester-long, full time (40 hours per week) fall co-op.

Position Description:
The Alcon team is looking for a talented and motivated co-op to join us onsite for Fall 2026 at the Johns Creek, GA location.
Alcon co-ops will have the opportunity to not only gain industry experience and network with other Alcon professionals. They will also have the chance to make a real-world impact by working on meaningful projects that will help patients and customers see brilliantly. Alcon also offer co-ops personal and professional development, high visibility and coaching and mentoring opportunities.
The Injection Molding Engineering co-op will be assigned projects that would consist of process upgrades and OEE improvements for the DSMFLEX platform. Projects may be safety, quality, or performance driven improvements. There is opportunity to assist with installation and qualification of new or retrofit equipment in the DSMFLEX area.
