Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright) to ensure coverage of critical product workflows

  • Target of 42.5 billable hours per week
  • This role follows a consistent daily rhythm that aligns with US Eastern business hours while giving you time for rest, personal tasks, and balance throughout your day.
  • Here's what a typical day looks like:
  • Start your day with a 4.5-hour work block: 9:30am-2:00pm (PHT)
  • Enjoy your afternoon free: 2:00pm-8:00pm (PHT)
  • Finish your workday with another 4.5-hour block: 8:00pm-12:30am (PHT)
  • Sleep/rest: 12:30am-9:30am (PHT)
  • This structure offers a long midday break while supporting strong collaboration with US-based teams during their business hours.

  • Note: All of these times would shift 1 hour later when the time difference switches to 13 hour differences from 12 hour differences

Requirements

  • Based in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term role
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong academic background with an outstanding General Weighted Average
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Proven experience in a SaaS or fast-paced software development environment
  • Strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks (preferably Playwright)
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent
  • Ability to translate product requirements into technical test cases and communicate issues clearly to developers
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across both frontend and backend systems
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying gaps and inefficiencies
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

This role will sit at the intersection of Product and Engineering, owning the transition from manual testing workflows to an automated, scalable QA and deployment pipeline.
