Lead & Engineer (Player‑Coach Responsibilities)
Remain hands‑on in the design, review, and implementation of enterprise network solutions.
Serve as a technical authority and escalation point for complex routing, switching, and data center issues.
Participate directly in architecture reviews, configuration validation, and major production changes.
Lead root‑cause analysis and resolution for high‑impact incidents.
Data Center & Core Networking
Design and operate Cisco ACI spine‑leaf data centers, including APIC policy, tenants, EPGs, and lifecycle upgrades.
Support NX‑OS-based environments for non‑ACI data center and campus use cases.
Own enterprise routing strategy using BGP and OSPF, ensuring resiliency and scalability.
Lead Data Center Interconnect (DCI) and edge connectivity designs.
Global Team Leadership
Manage and mentor a globally distributed team of ~7 network engineers across regions and time zones.
Provide day‑to‑day technical guidance, coaching, and career development.
Balance delivery, operational stability, and long‑term platform evolution.
Establish engineering standards, documentation, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of hands‑on network engineering experience in enterprise or data center environments
2+ years of experience managing engineers, ideally across multiple regions
Strong expertise in:
Cisco ACI and NX‑OS
BGP and OSPF routing
Data center, edge, and DCI architectures
Proven ability to balance technical execution and people leadership
Comfortable working command‑line and reviewing production configurations
