Responsibilities

  • Establishes and leads the enterprise-wide vision, strategy and operating model for planning & scheduling aligned with organizational objectives while fostering cross-functional engagement and accountability.

  • Education and Experience
  • Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Work Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in construction operations, including leading planning and scheduling practices for large, complex projects at scale required.
  • Experience developing, administering, and maintaining project plans and schedules using field planning systems such as CPM, pull planning, takt, short interval planning, visual planning and schedule performance measurement required.
  • Experience with enterprise-level planning strategies including model-based visual planning, schedule risk analysis, Last Planner System®, and integrated schedule management and reporting solutions preferred.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching experience across diverse teams and stakeholder groups preferred.

Job Description The Director of National Planning & Scheduling sets the vision and standards for how DPR plans and schedules work across the company. Provides enterprise leadership for planning and scheduling to enable reliable, predictable project delivery across the company. Establishes and evolves the company-wide vision, strategy, and governance for planning and scheduling practices, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and execution needs. Partners with executive and functional leaders to embed planning discipline into how work is sequenced, constraints are removed, and progress is communicated across all regions and business units.
