Responsibilities
- Lead estimating, cost planning, and change management across multiple construction phases, including the negotiation of change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce, present, and maintain detailed cost plans, forecasts, and funding data at key design and construction milestones.
- Work collaboratively with designers, contractors, and project managers to develop, reconcile, and validate construction cost estimates.

- Ensure effective cost auditing, valuation processes, and timely agreement of final accounts
- Compile built cost data for benchmarking and continuous improvement.
- Proactively resolve commercial and scheduling issues with minimal supervision.
- Identify, coach, and mentor team members, fostering high performance and professional development.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with Turner & Townsend's business management systems, delivery methodologies, and best‑practice standards.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in a cost management or quantity surveying role within the construction industry.
- Experience leading cost management on medium to large‑scale construction projects of moderate to high complexity.
- Strong knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management, and cost control processes.
- Consultancy experience strongly preferred.
- Professional accreditation (or working towards) such as RICS preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
