Completion of an industry-recognized apprenticeship in the electronics field (Electronics Technician, Industrial Electronics, Telecommunications or similar) appropriate to assigned duties AND six years of journey-level electronics experience, INCLUDING two years of supervisory experience.
(Relevant experience and/or education from an accredited college or university may be substituted.)
OR:
Four years of experience with Pima County as an Electronics Specialist I or II, Trades Maintenance Specialist II or related position as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment INCLUDING one year of lead or supervisory experience.

The Electronics Specialist Supervisor provides management and supervision of all Electronics shop functions and staff members, including recordkeeping, coordinating and scheduling installations, testing, repairs and maintenance of County fire alarm notification systems, card access systems, intrusion alarms, data/fiber cabling and CCTV monitoring.
