Responsibilities

  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Job Summary Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech therapy services across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about delivering patient-centered care and improving communication, swallowing, and cognitive outcomes within a dynamic healthcare environment. The Speech-Language Pathologist practices within the scope of the Georgia State Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Licensing Act , collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans that promote optimal functional outcomes. In this role, the Speech-Language Pathologist plans, implements, and evaluates speech-language pathology interventions for patients referred to the Speech Therapy Department at Grady. Care is provided to a diverse patient population across the lifespan-including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients -while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and supporting coordinated patient care.
