Job Description Service Centre Planning Manager RRPF Engine Services, Sendayan TechValley, Malaysia Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance Limited ("RRPF") is an engine leasing company with the largest global portfolio of Rolls-Royce and IAE V2500-A5 & PW1100G-JM engines, providing medium and long term leasing solutions for spare engines. RRPF's sister company, Aether Asset Management, manages approximately 560 assets on behalf of third-party owners, enabling the efficient leasing and return of civil aircraft engines to airlines around the world, mainly on short term leases. As a leading innovator within the engine leasing industry, RRPF has a set-up an engine service centre in the Sendayan TechValley, Seremban, Malaysia, roughly 30 mins from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). This engine service centre will support engine redelivery and pre-delivery inspections and storage for RRPF and Aether managed assets in the region. An opportunity has become available for a Service Centre Planning Manager to join our team in Malaysia. The primary objectives are to deliver services within agreed timeframes, improve turn-around-time between leases, maintain the asset value of engines and minimise risk for all asset owners. The size and structure of the RRPF organisation means that you will work alongside and communicate with senior team members daily. This is a key role enabling high quality service delivery to airline customers while mitigating technical risk for asset owners. You will report to the Chief Technical Officer and be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Service Centre, planning and coordinating delivery of subcontracted work with the maintenance provider, be responsible for logistics of engines, parts and tooling, coordinating the outhouse repair of stands and maintaining our related digital systems. Speed, accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail are essential. MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Will help further develop and keep the Service Centre forecasting and planning systems updated to maximise use of available capacity Will help to further develop in-house parts management and logistics management systems Will coordinate priorities with the maintenance contractor in conjunction with the Technical Manager/Director Will process POs and Customer Workscope Requests from RR/Aether and third party customers Responsible for raising purchase orders through the RRPF system for maintenance contractors, stand repair station, logistics providers, spare parts suppliers, etc. Responsible for vetting and processing invoices from maintenance contractors, stand repair station, logistics providers, spare parts suppliers, etc. through RRPF system Following completion of work, will collate costs and raise invoices on RR/Aether and third party customers Will keep RRPF systems updated to reflect status of engines within the Service Centre Responsible for promptly highlighting any constraints or quality issues that may impact the delivery of our service to our customers KEY SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Relevant experience in Airline Engineering/Operations, MRO, or an OEM support function is desired Familiar with aircraft/engine maintenance processes and technical records Experience of managing third party suppliers/sub-contractors for maintenance Experience with aviation logistics for spare parts and engines, willing to help develop in-house systems Experience of processing purchase orders and invoices Understanding of engine shop visit processes and airline engineering operations Computer literacy, knowledge of asset management software systems and the OEM engine portals an advantage We offer excellent opportunities to develop, along with a competitive salary and exceptional benefits.
