**Candidates must be permanent in the Certified IT Administrator (LAN/WAN) civil service title to apply** The Certified IT Administrator (LAN/WAN) position will serve as a Senior Network Administrator in the IT Division. This position will be reporting to the Manager of the Network Services Team. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: -- Responsible for Cisco infrastructure, Cisco WAN, LAN, VoIP, VPN, WLAN, Technologies -- Responsible for the installation, configuration, testing and administration of switches, routers, network appliances, load balancers, and other network equipment sufficient for the needs of each office location while delivering required network service levels -- Ensure the reliability of the complex and diverse networks and applications utilized by the agency's divisions 24/7 days a week across multiple office locations while maintaining proper environmental conditions of MDFs & IDFs -- Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex network problems and recommend and implement corrective actions. -- Create, document, implement and maintain network architecture configurations and processes -- Maintaining network systems, performing onsite and remote diagnosis, and finding effective resolutions for vulnerabilities and network failures -- Monitoring the performance requirement of the agency's network system and implementing strategies to improve the network operations along with providing status and reports of findings
