Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in law
• Minimum 3 years of PQE relevant experience in an international law firm. Previous in-house experience would be a plus.
• Familiar with wealth management or private banking business, as well as general commercial matters
• Common law qualification (other than HK) would be preferred.
• Strong technical, commercial and communication skills along with a good ability to effectively prioritize competing workloads in a client focused manner.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

Additional Information

Key Areas of Responsibilities Provide legal support mainly to Wealth Management teams based in Hong Kong and other regions Drafting and advising on Wealth Management related documentation Proactively identify issues related to the business and provide commercially pragmatic advice to the business team Providing legal support to regional offices and participating in regional projects and initiatives. Advise business teams on various legal, structural, reputational and other transaction-related issues Respond to regulatory initiates, market structure reform and policy work Attend internal meetings on behalf of Legal Work closely with LCD on various matters affecting WM business and certain general matters
