Design, plan and maintain a cost effective, reliable and secure corporate network.
Recommend and implement WAN/LAN/DC concepts with a strong focus on network security in coordination with the team.
Take ownership of new projects throughout their lifecycle, from initial evaluation to configuration and final implementation, ensuring successful completion and delivery.
Implement and maintain Zero Trust network security measures to establish a robust security posture, minimize the attack surface, and mitigate the risk of unauthorized access.
Proactive monitoring of performance and ensure system availability, reliability and capacity planning.
Identify and troubleshoot network problems.
Perform network assessments and recommend improvements to optimize network performance.
Conduct thorough evaluations and make informed decisions regarding the selection and adoption of new technologies.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of computing or computer science or a related field.
7+ years of recent network engineering expertise supporting an enterprise environment
Demonstrated experience in all phases of the design, configuration, installation, and administration of large-scale networks.
Cisco expertise - CCNP certification or equivalent level.
Strong security experience with firewall technologies, installation, maintenance and support.
