Your part in our Buderim Hospital team As part of our Surgical Ward team, you will work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to deliver safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. In addition to this you will: Deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills Apply sound clinical practice which ensures a safe environment and promotes optimal patient health Effectively exchange information with the Registered Nurse regarding patient responses to treatment and nursing care Demonstrate application of the principles of clinical and workplace risk management Achieve optimum patient care through effective collaboration with other health professionals and coordination of care Achieves optimal patient outcomes through appropriate allocation of staff and delegation of work and effective communication skills What makes a difference for us? Diploma of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration, with a minimum of 12 months post-graduate experience within an acute hospital setting Full Australian Working Rights (please note, we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time ) Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices. A commitment to patient safety and quality improvements and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment What makes a difference for you?
