General duties include setup, operation, and adjustment of plastic injection molding machines and related equipment. Essential Job Duties Responsible for producing quality products per the build schedule Operate injection molding machines to produce parts meeting quality specifications. Perform secondary processing operations according to work instructions. Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects. Meet productivity standards. Record and maintain quality or traceability information. Record and maintain Cell Boards and other visual management tools Maintain equipment according to work instructions or preventive maintenance tasks. Report complicated equipment malfunctions to mechanics. Participate in team meetings, which include planning daily work and resource utilization, problem solving, project work, etc. Maintain visual management of part and raw material storage; clean and organized work area. Assist in problem solving of new equipment and products. Minimum Requirements: Ability to follow standard operating procedures with close supervision Develops skills to perform basic, repetitive, and manual activities on the job Uses existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks; has limited opportunity to solve problems Compensation & Benefits The duties listed in job descriptions are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
