Deliver engaging vocational education and training in allied health and health-related subjects at Certificate II and III level
Support, mentor, and inspire secondary school students throughout their learning journey
Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to support successful course completion
Assist students in building confidence, employability skills, and pathways into further study or employment
Travel to partner schools across Southeast Queensland and attend designated HUB locations as required
Engage with industry partners and workplaces, including trainee visits and collaboration opportunities that support positive student outcomes
Complete administrative and compliance tasks, including assessment marking and maintaining accurate training records in Canvas
Represent Connect 'n' Grow through career expos, school engagement activities, trainer upskilling, and resource development initiatives
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent qualification
Valid Working with Children Check (Employee Blue Card) or willingness to obtain
Ability to successfully complete an Australian Federal Police Check
Highly Desirable
Minimum 3 years' experience delivering vocational education and training in health-related subjects
Strong understanding of industry standards and accreditation requirements
Experience working with secondary school students or young people
This hybrid role services partner schools from our Windsor (Brisbane) office through to the Gold Coast. Ideally, you will be based within the Brisbane South, Logan, or Northern Gold Coast region, as the role includes regular travel across these areas. A car allowance will be provided.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Health Trainer to join our growing team. This is more than just a training role - it is an opportunity to genuinely impact the lives of young people by helping secondary school students discover meaningful career pathways in allied health and community services.
You will deliver engaging and supportive vocational education programs to students completing Certificate II and Certificate III qualifications in a range of allied health and health-related subjects. The role involves travelling to partner schools throughout Southeast Queensland, as well as working from one of our designated training HUBs which service the Deadly and Traineeship Programs.
