Saxo Bank's credit-related clients are represented in many different countries, making the challenges unique compared to other Danish banks. These financial counterparties are typically banks and brokers, but also in some cases business enterprises. The Group Credit Department consists of six employees (including one student assistant position) and its overall purpose is to monitor and manage Saxo Bank's credit risk at group level. This includes credit risk in connection with individual clients' activities in Saxo Bank as well as credit risk in connection with Saxo Bank's own investments.
