About the role

Avantor is currently looking for a motivated Service Assistant to join our expanding team at the GoCo Health Innovation Centre in Mölndal in January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a dynamic and diverse work environment within the life sciences industry. About the Role In this hands-on position, you will provide operational support to various laboratories on-site , with a strong focus on logistics and shipment handling . Key responsibilities include: Receiving and shipping goods , including unpacking consumables and chemicals Managing and disposing of lab waste Restocking lab materials Delivering clean glassware and lab clothing Simpler purchasing activities , such as placing and following up on orders Calibrating and cleaning lab equipment (e.g., pipettes) Participating in the creation of work instructions Who Are We Looking For? The ideal candidate has a logistics background , with hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory handling . You may currently be working in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain , and looking to transition into a support role towards laboratories. No scientific education is required- full internal training will be provided. We're looking for someone who is: Customer-minded, service-oriented, and highly motivated Detail-oriented and proactive Experienced in logistics or shipment handling is a bonus Comfortable working in a hospital or lab environment (preferred) Fluent in English and preferably Swedish Organized, flexible, and a strong team player Why Join Avantor?
