Job Description
Position Overview:
Performs several maintenance functions within the tooling and mold maintenance team including repairing, maintaining, and cleaning molding equipment.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Supports production by maintaining all molds in a production ready state.
Performs cleaning, tear-down, evaluation and repair of existing molds within the facility.
Performs cavitation and insert changes on compatible molds.
Documents cleanings, corrective actions, modifications, spare parts installed, and other relevant information for all molds within the facility using computer based systems (SAP).
Conducts cleaning, lubrication and polishing of applicable mold components.
Operates lift truck, overhead crane, and related equipment to lift, move, and handle molds.
Uses micrometer, calipers, and fixed or adjustable gauges as needed to check that mold components meet specified tolerances.
Sets up and operates various shop machinery including grinders, drills, mills, lathes and various hand tools.
Must be able to complete job assignments in an efficient and timely manner.
Other duties as required.

Understand and complies with all company policies and procedures regarding, safety, ISO, GMP's.
Communicate system non-conformances to managers or supervisors.
