About the role

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is a cooperative founded in 1983 that processes, sells and transports soybeans, grains, and related products. Our company has become one of the largest soybean processing cooperatives in the world and our plants process soybeans that can be used in a variety of products such as animal feed, vegetable oil, and fuels.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, repair, and maintain plumbing, pipefitting, and gearboxes throughout the facility
• Perform welding, torch, and plasma cutting to complete repairs
• Complete daily paperwork, equipment inspections, and locate parts for departments as needed
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete repairs when appropriate
• Maintain plant sanitation standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a mechanically related field preferred
• Ability to read and understand computer printouts and equipment specifications
• Experience operating forklifts, bobcats, and end-loaders
• Skilled with hand tools, including drills, hammers, screwdrivers, and pliers
