Support the planning and execution of usability studies to evaluate new and existing products, and provide constructive recommendations for improvement
Conduct competitive benchmarking studies from a user interface and human‑factors perspective
Coordinate and schedule usability testing sessions, including deploying recruitment surveys and managing participant logistics
Synthesize research findings and propose actionable ideas or recommendations to address identified usability issues
Minimum Requirements
Currently studying Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or related coursework with a graduation date of 2026
Must be able to work at least 32 hours per week
Must be able to work in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo) office lab, as needed
Conduct user centered research activities
Preferred Skills
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and advocate for user needs
Working knowledge of interaction design and user-centered design principles
Familiarity with UI industry standards, including interface design best practices and user testing methodologies
Some experience analyzing and interpreting user research data, including basic statistical analysis Working knowledge of documentation tools used to create specifications and design artifacts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and high volumes of email communication
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Awareness of and ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and global teams
