Senior Associate, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

About the role

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting, hands-on experience with SEC reporting, and the ability to work across departments to solve problems and support business decisions. This position provides the opportunity to gain exposure to external reporting, technical accounting research, audits, and system improvements in a high-growth environment. In this role, you will: Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) including financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A sections in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations Review supporting documentation and prepare the tie-out of the financial statements and footnotes Assist with equity and stock-based compensation accounting, including share-based taward calculations under ASC 718 and equity rollforward schedules Prepare GAAP disclosure checklists to ensure compliance with accounting and SEC guidelines and completeness of financial statements Research technical accounting matters and assist in documenting accounting positions for complex or non-routine transactions under US GAAP and SEC guidance Partner with FP&A and investor relations to provide input for earnings releases Support external auditors' work on annual audits and quarterly reviews Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting packages for management to support strategic decision-making and investor relations Assist in maintaining SOX 404 controls and other internal controls related to financial reporting and disclosure
