The Assistant Coach will support the head coach in all aspects of the program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teaching and coaching student-athletes in the fundamentals and techniques of wrestling; building and strengthening cross-campus relationships; developing and implementing practice plans; providing individual and team instruction; conducting large group instruction; meeting with individual student-athletes; supporting the nutritional development of student-athletes; performing video analysis; recruiting and retaining academically and athletically qualified student-athletes. The Assistant Coach is expected to adhere to NAIA guidelines and regulations while demonstrating behavior that reflects a positive image of the athletic program and the university.
