Read more at www.alsglobal.com We are now looking for a motivated and experienced HSE Officer to join our Geochemistry division in the Nordics, based in Piteå. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment across our Nordic operations. You will work both strategically and operationally with implementing and developing HSE processes, ensuring compliance with both local legislation and global standards. The role involves close collaboration with operational leaders, employees, and support functions such as HR and Quality. Key responsibilities include: Driving and developing a strong HSE, sustainability, and compliance culture Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, internal policies, and global standards Implementing and monitoring HSE programs, processes, and ways of working across sites and the region Conducting risk assessments, incident management, and preventive actions to reduce injuries and risks Supporting the business in interactions with authorities and relevant authorities Participating in and leading internal and external HSE audits Ensuring HSE training and awareness programs are delivered and followed up Driving continuous improvement initiatives We are looking for someone who Has a degree or certification in Occupational Health and Safety or similar. You have several years of experience working with HSE and a solid understanding of relevant legislation and standards. As a person, you are: Structured and able to plan and drive your work independently A strong communicator who collaborates effectively across functions and levels Analytical and solution-oriented Responsible, detail-oriented, and professional in your approach You are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Finnish is considered an advantage. The role requires willingness to travel within the Nordic region.
