ATCs will need to be board certified as Athletic Trainer

We are looking for a full-time Clinical Assistant in our Belmont Office. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8a-5p.
The Clinical Assistant is responsible for providing and coordinating orthopedic patient care which includes performing routine office procedures and testing, participating in patient teaching, communicating effectively with others, and partnering with the physician/mid-level provider in the delivery of patient care .
Essential Functions:
Updating clinical notes in electronic medical systems
Completing phone triage
Casting and bracing
Performing routine office procedures
Providing patient education
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of EMR (Epic)
Ability to triage patient telephone calls. Gather pertinent facts; be as accurate and concise as possible to assess patient health status and act as liaison between patient and provider.
Ability to clearly and effectively educate patients, families and staff regarding the full scope of patient care needs related to the care of patients with orthopedic problems.
Communicate effectively and clearly . Respond well to questions with patients, physicians/ mid-level providers and co-workers .
