Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production equipment across processes such as drying, freezing, grinding, sifting, and packaging while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Set up, assemble, disassemble, clean, and sanitize equipment and work areas between production runs.
Load, unload, transfer, and transport materials and finished products throughout the production process.
Perform quality checks, including CCP verifications, and identify and escalate any product or process issues.
Follow all safety protocols, including PPE and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, and participate in safety meetings and training.
Support team operations by communicating effectively, assisting with training, and preparing for upcoming production needs.
Requirements
At least six months of production experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills, with the ability to accurately track counts, weights, and inventory.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive, accountable approach.
Forklift experience preferred and basic computer or ERP system familiarity a plus.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Regular standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push or pull equipment and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
Required use of personal protective equipment including respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, and head protection.
Ability to work in dusty, cold, hot, humid, wet, loud, or outdoor environments depending on assignment.
Primarily production-based work with minimal administrative duties, and the ability to meet all physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
