The Department of Educational Leadership and Human Services at Saint Joseph's University invites applications for an Adjunct/Affiliate Professor in Educational Leadership. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an "as needed" basis. Online teaching possibilities are included.

Saint Joseph's University (SJU) offers a wide variety of bachelor's, master's, doctoral, associate and certificate programs. With a commitment to personalized attention through a low faculty to student ratio, SJU may call on the expertise of adjunct instructors to complement the work of full-time faculty across all of its colleges and schools.
SJU appoints part-time, non-tenure track adjunct instructors on a semester-to-semester basis with no guarantee of consecutive appointments. Re-appointment is based on university need, student enrollment, and satisfactory performance. Applicants for these positions are screened on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Teaching responsibilities are assigned by the department chair. Compensation for adjunct instructors is commensurate with educational credentials, professional, experience and instructional background. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide support and guidance to students
Instruct an assigned course providing syllabi and other instructional materials
Use of university learning management systems to deliver instruction
Adjunct/affiliate faculty are expected to teach a specified online or face-to-face course(s)
Prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.
Min Qualifications
Required qualifications include a doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership or closely related majors or a master's degree and unique or outstanding expertise in leadership.
