Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and manage daily plant-level safety programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and corporate initiatives across production, warehousing, and logistics operations.
Conduct safety training, audits, inspections, and job safety analyses to drive awareness and compliance.
Investigate incidents and accidents, coordinate corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor and track safety metrics, maintain safety records, and manage chemical inventories and safety data sheets.
Partner with plant leadership to support emergency planning, drills, and safety reviews for new equipment and facilities.
Requirements
Three or more years of experience in a safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in a Safety related field.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using technical safety equipment and experience in PSM, LOTO, or ammonia systems preferred.
Bilingual Spanish a significant plus
