The Associate Director Video and Multi-Media Communications (Associate Director) reports to the Senior Director of Communications and is responsible for developing video content as part of multi-media campaigns and communications.
Acts as an experienced videographer, producer and editor, adept at creating, editing, producing and posting video content for all digital platforms.
Manages video production for stewardship activities, including maintaining brand compliant templates for ThankView and Canva video production in partnership with the Design team. The Associate Director advises MBSD colleagues on creative strategy and production options for video development.
Develops, plans, and disseminates information designed to keep the public informed of the organization's programs, accomplishments, or point of view.
Solves moderate to complex problems related to the writing, preparation, and/or delivery of information from or about the unit.
Performs other related work as needed.
Requirements
Education:
Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, or business management.
Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or management - preferably in an academic medical center environment.
Multi-media communications experience, including video storytelling and ability to operate a camera and edit videos.
Experience with automated marketing systems, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Preferred Competencies
