Resolution and diagnosis of system faults both in the factory and at customer's site. Remote technical support (internal and external) for our install base worldwide Technical support in FAT and CAT. Start-up in the customer's house with debugging of all the functionalities of the machines Providing customer training Generation of manuals and technical documentation Inform management about the technical situation of the projects in which he has had to assist. Generate a report on the resolution of each incident so that there is a database to use to base a client's history or subsequent review of a similar breakdown. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology (e.g. Electronics, Mechatronics or Software related) 3-5 years' experience in material handling, automation or related industry Knowledge of TIA Portal, WinCC SCADA, etc. Understand Electrical drawings. Electrical knowledge for validation, detection of failures, troubleshooting Knowledge/Experience of EU and US electrical and safety norms. Experience with Frequency Inverters, HMI and other related products Experience in the field with machine installation/start up/commissioning/service. Direct experience on programming with PLC controlled systems, including safety designs, motor protection and control, and Industrial Communication and networking (i.e. ASibus, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Profinet). Excellent reading/writing/speaking in English
