Supporting editorial processes relating to manuscript assessment and the peer-review process.
Commissioning, editing and writing content for journals.
Working closely with Chief Editors and journal teams, while reporting to the Head of the Research Cross-Journal Team, on other aspects of journal content and strategy, as appropriate .
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Research experience to PhD level or equivalent in geoscience, with particular emphasis on biogeochemistry, hydrology, geomorphology, or closely related areas.
A keen interest in research both within and beyond your specialty.
The ability to absorb and understand new areas of research .
Strong interpersonal and communication skills .
Time management and work prioritization skills.
Postdoctoral experience is not required but would be a plus.
Previous editorial experience is desirable but not essential.
Additional expertise in related disciplines would be advantageous .
