Provide individual co-occurring sessions to consumers through symptom assessment, management, and supportive counseling, as well as assistance to the consumer regarding Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP), and/or other crisis planning tools.
Support medication delivery and collaboration with PACT team to provide long term support to the consumer. Assess consumer's concerns, mental illness symptoms, and behavior in response to medication and monitor side effects during ongoing face to face contacts.
Attend daily morning meetings to address consumer and program needs.
Be available to provide crisis assessment and intervention 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including telephone and face-to-face contact as needed; on call responsibilities shared between PACT team.
Utilization of evident based tools including psycho-education, social skills training, cognitive-behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention planning;
Completes and submits accurate reports and chart documentation in a complete and timely manner according to program guidelines and established procedures.
Meets obligations of the program (contractual, licensing, Medicaid, etc.).
Operates conscientiously in accordance with program budget (i.e., use of client engaging funds, office supplies).
Complete PACT Training and Technical Assistance Initiative.
Performs other related duties as assigned and per PACT Regulations and program manual.

Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field and have a minimum of two years of experience providing dual disorder services to individuals with cooccurring serious and persistent mental illness and substance abuse.
A dual disorder specialist shall hold the professional credentials required by the Alcohol and Drug Counselor Licensing and Certification Act
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances.
Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently.
Additional Information
Base Rate: $48K-$55K; depending on certification/license
Sign-on Bonus: $750
Bilingual-Spanish differential: An additional $1.50/hourly added to base rate if Spanish proficient

Job Overview
The PACT Co-Occurring Specialist shall provide highly individualized dual disorder services for enrollees who have cooccurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. Interventions may be offered via individual and group modalities. Interventions take into account each consumer's stage of treatment and will assist consumers.
