About the role

We are seeking a Data Center Operations Support Technician to provide site-based technical and operational support within high-availability data center environments. Responsibilities

Provide operational and technical support for assigned data center computer systems and peripheral equipment.

Perform standard maintenance and repair activities.

Reassign job priorities according to precedent, policy, and procedures.

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to alerts and system issues.

Update systems and applications.

Partners with vendors and component suppliers to replace or repair failed equipment.

Required Skills and Work Experience

Work Environment

This role is site-based.

This role may be required to travel to other sites.

40-hour week (Monday-Friday).

Required to work outside business hours when necessary to achieve critical service delivery commitments.

Required to participate in a standby on-call roster.

Reports to a team leader.
