The Role & What You Will Be Doing AP Payment Analyst is responsible for processing the payments in accurate and timely manner for the countries in his/her scope and achieving his/her strategic initiatives. The role holder should have a clear understanding around Payment processes via interface or directly from local bank portals Issue resolution, Control, Audit and Reporting related processes - Access management, KPI reporting, quality reporting, upstream issue resolution. Perform job functions in accordance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), federal and state laws, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines, health authority regulations, departmental processes and ensures that all Service Level Agreements and KPIs are met. Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference, and here's how the Italian or French speaking AP Payment Senior Analyst role will make an impact: This position will lead the local medical team, ensure alignment and execution of local/regional medical strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key healthcare stakeholders to drive meaningful impact for patients and the business. Perform manual payments through various bank platforms Prepare and Control Fund requests Support Audit requests Support Treasury teams in various projects Working closely with Bank and Cash team Maintain connection with several departments within the company Provide analytics as requested by line manager and/or business Prepare cash forecast and funding requests; follow up all payment approvals Support local team with information about payments Contact bank for information request Perform month-end activities, issue resolution, reporting Support Audit Support system/process changes to fix root-cause of issues Support AP team in various projects Work with other organizations, such as Master Data, Procurement and General Ledger, Treasury, Account Payable, OTC, Indirect Tax to ensure process efficiency Build effective business relationships with Stakeholders and other departments within Viatris Ensure that SOPs and Internal controls over financial reporting are properly documented and updated Responsible for keeping deadlines; meeting the quantitative and qualitative requirements and measures Ensure all duties are performed within the guidelines of the company's internal controls, policies, and procedures Complete assigned job functions within a dynamic support organization to accomplish departmental goals within deadlines Develop an extensive knowledge of customer policies and procedures and relating to AP Payment. Develop broad knowledge in other AP functions Identifies best practices and engages subordinates in the implementation. Works with the IT department on the development of changes/improvements to current systems.
