Job Description Summary:
Analog's Automotive Cabin Experience (ACE) business unit is seeking a low-level Display Applications Engineer to support our cutting-edge GMSL (Gigabit Multimedia Serial Links) product line's team. In this position you will work with global car manufacturers on their ADAS (camera) and Infotainment (display) system designs and implementations. You will also start to design and develop hardware, firmware, and software to evaluate Analog's integrated circuits while using high-end lab equipment to characterize device operation for both new product development and customer support.
The primary work location is on-site at an Analog facility where our ACE, Serial Links engineering teams are located, with some work-from-home flexibility available. This position is targeted at our Istanbul office.
Responsibilities Include:
Becoming a product expert in High-Speed Automotive Serial Links (GMSL)
Lab evaluation of new ICs to gain expert-level knowledge in device operation, including measurement collection and software authoring to automate bench tests
Providing quick-turn technical applications support to customers, global field teams, Product Definers, and Design Engineers which includes educating, answering questions, developing architectures, and solving problems with customers related to both new and existing Analog Devices' parts and boards
Gaining experience in display (and camera) technologies, transmission line theory, industry standard control interfaces, automotive EMI/BCI standards, and automotive functional safety
Designing, laying-out, building, and testing application boards to validate GMSL products, and developing demonstration systems to show-off industry-leading features to potential and existing customers
Writing application notes, user guides, articles, new product proposals, and evaluation kit manuscripts for internal and/or external publication
Working with Business Managers and the global field team to secure new design wins by providing technical insight to engineers at key OEM and Tier-1 customers
Traveling (domestic and international) will be required for customer support and to meet with Analog's global design and field teams to provide training, lab work, demonstrations, and other remote operations
