Company : Sime Darby Auto Bavaria Sdn. Bhd. Job Description: Domain expertise Act as the Vehicle Management System (VMS) subject matter expert. Serve as primary contact for VMS-related incidents, service requests, and problem resolution. Coordinate with other SAP functional teams (e.g., MM, SD, FICO) to resolve cross-module issues. Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Establishes requirements baselines or backlogs, obtains appropriate agreement to requirements and ensures traceability to source. System design Follows standard approaches and established design patterns to create new designs for simple systems or system components. Identifies and resolves minor design issues. Identifies alternative design options and seeks guidance when deviating from established design patterns. Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals. System development management Contributes to the planning and management of systems development work. Adopts and applies appropriate systems development methods, tools and techniques in line with agreed standards. Engages with stakeholders to ensure systems development deliverables meet requirements and quality expectations. Manages risks and issues related to systems development activities, escalating as needed. Coordinate with technical teams to configure, customize, and integrate SAP modules as per business needs. Leads functional testing efforts across all development stages, ensuring alignment with functional requirements and focusing on risk-based prioritization. System configuration Designs, verifies, documents, amends and refactors moderately complex software configurations for deployment. Ensure system configuration aligns with business processes and statutory requirements. User Acceptance Testing Develops, automates and executes comprehensive test plans and cases. Follows agreed standards and techniques to devise test cases and scenarios based on pre-defined acceptance criteria. Analyses and reports on test activities, results, issues and risks. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve technical issues and implement best practices. System lifecycle management Provides support for implementing systems and software lifecycle practices by applying established methods and procedures. Provide ongoing support for SAP systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to ensure system stability and performance. Supports automation and continuous integration processes under direction. Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of lifecycle management activities. Job Requirements: Education / Professional Qualification The Job - Bachelor's degree in the following: o Computer Science, o Information System Or equivalent experiences . Strong understanding of Vehicle Management System (VMS) processes. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation, configuration, and support. Proven experience in configuring and supporting SAP VMS module is essential. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Vehicle Management System is highly desirable.
