About the role

The School of Arts, WSU, invites expressions of interest from people who are interested in casual academic work which will involve lectures, tutorials, workshops and marking in the Bachelor of Screen Media (Arts and Production) program. Core and Major areas of Screen Media include Screen Media Fundamentals, Documentary (Factual) and Digital Narrative, Narrative (Fictional), Episodic and Documentary (Factual) Screen Media, Immersive Screen Technologies and Screen Media Capstone. The Bachelor of Screen Media (Arts and Production) is offered on the Parramatta South campus. For further information on program structures refer to the University Handbook at https://hbook.westernsydney.edu.au/programs/bachelor-music/ Eligibility To be considered for casual employment, applicants must meet the following criteria: A postgraduate qualification (minimum Master's degree; PhD or equivalent professional experience desirable) Recent and relevant teaching experience at tertiary level and/or evidence of teaching capability Relevant expertise in at least one of the following areas Screen Media include Screen Media Fundamentals, Documentary (Factual) and Digital Narrative, Narrative (Fictional), Episodic and Documentary (Factual) Screen Media, Immersive Screen Technologies and Screen Media Capstone. Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment Academic Staff Agreement: For casual rates of pay please refer to Schedule 2 of the Academic Staff Agreement.
