Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Relationship Manager to join our team at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions to foster long-term relationships and drive business growth. Job Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a designated portfolio of individual or corporate clients. * Proactively identify client financial needs and cross-sell a comprehensive range of banking products and services, including loans, deposits, investments, and treasury solutions. * Conduct regular client reviews to assess their financial situation, identify new business opportunities, and provide ongoing financial advice. * Prepare and present credit proposals, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. * Monitor client accounts and portfolios, identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies. * Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue generation, portfolio growth, and client satisfaction. * Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients. * Collaborate effectively with internal departments, such as credit, operations, and product teams, to ensure seamless client service delivery. * Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary. * Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Job Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with a focus on retail, SME, or corporate clients. * Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios. * Strong understanding of banking products and services, including lending, deposits, trade finance, and investment solutions. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. * Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Proactive, results-oriented, and client-focused. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Knowledge of Malaysian banking regulations and market practices is an advantage.
