Experience in enterprise software or high-growth tech environments.
You bring
Deep Java Expertise: 10+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong preference for experience within enterprise cloud software companies
Open-Source Proficiency: Hands-on experience with a range of open-source technologies including Spring, PostGres, Maven, Git, Mockito, Tomcat, Linux, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
Relational Database: Experience with relational databases and expert-level SQL skills
Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and contribute to a positive and high-performing team environment
Excellent communication skills: Proven communication skills to work with the team and the stakeholders.

Position Overview and Objective
A Manager, Engineering - Platform - plans and directs all aspects of development, maintenance and sustaining activities within their teams. This means that they ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives. They work closely with platform Leadership, Product Management and the Security Services(S2) to ensure their teams are building what our customers and users need in a timely fashion. Managers have a large scope of leadership and can have multiple managers and/or leads reporting to them. Managers can also have specialized subject matter expertise within the technical areas their teams work in.
