Responsibilities
Oversee all facility operations to ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Manage operations to maximize capacity, reduce downtime, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
Serve as the primary safety contact for the shift by identifying hazards, addressing incidents, and escalating concerns as needed.
Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Inventory teams to ensure sanitation, food safety, and operational efficiency.
Monitor HACCP and GMP compliance, ensure accurate documentation, and support shipping and receiving activities including BOLs and inspections.
Lead, coach, and develop shift employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Requirements
One to two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or GED required, with a four-year degree preferred.
Manufacturing experience required, with food manufacturing experience a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Regular standing, walking, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push or pull equipment and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Required use of personal protective equipment including respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, and head protection.
Exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and cold environments, including refrigerated areas.
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
