Skilled PLC Technician

This role is for hands-on PLC Technicians who enjoy solving complex problems, improving control systems, and keeping production running at peak performance. You'll play a critical role in plant automation, instrumentation, and controls, where your expertise directly impacts safety, uptime, and efficiency every day.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter
Install, test, maintain, inspect, modify, and repair plant automation and control systems.
Program, configure, update, and debug PLC and HMI software and operating parameters.
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation issues; identify root cause and corrective actions.
Diagnose and resolve system alarms, faults, jams, and connectivity issues.
Calibrate plant instrumentation including pressure, temperature, level, flow, pH, conductivity, weight, force, and speed instruments.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and maintain accurate CMMS and maintenance records.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and OEMs to support plant operations and automation projects.
Recommend and implement control system improvements, upgrades, and enhancements.
Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance mechanics, production supervisors, and manufacturing engineers.
Follow and promote all safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout, NEC, NFPA 70E, and state requirements.

What You Bring
High School Diploma or GED.
Associate degree in Industrial Controls Technology or related field OR 3-5 years of instrumentation/automation experience (or equivalent combination).
Advanced knowledge of PLC programming, HMI systems, automated controls, electronics, robotics, fiber optic sensors, pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
