Minimum of 15 years relevant aviation maintenance experience.
Hold an EASA B1/B2 engineering licence or equivalent.
Good IT skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Technical understanding on current generation aircraft.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Pilots licence or flight operations experience advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience in preparation of detailed reports.
Must be able to undertake short notice international travel.
English is the primary business language, but additional language skills would be advantageous.

Working closely with leading global insurers, the team delivers a comprehensive range of specialist services including hull surveys, liability investigations, crisis and incident management, operational safety surveys, expert witness support and salvage sales. This breadth of expertise places Sedgwick at the forefront of complex aviation claims and risk solutions worldwide.
As an Aviation Surveyor, following appropriate training, you will be responsible for handling aviation insurance claims from minor damage incidents to major aircraft accidents and associated services provided to worldwide Insurers. The role includes investigation of loss circumstances, accident site attendance as required, assessment of risk factors, evaluation of damage sustained, liaising with the airline/operator/repairer and other stakeholders involved, provide technical advice and expertise to progress and finalise the insurance claim.
