Establish and oversee the plant's production plan, ensuring that the production rates of prefabricated elements meet the requirements of the on-site assembly programme.
Approve manufacturing procedures, including mould design, reinforcement placement, curing systems, and internal post-tensioning methods.
Ensure that all prefabricated elements comply with the technical specifications, geometric tolerances, and concrete strength requirements specified in the project.
Manage and coordinate the entire plant team, including superintendents, quality engineers, technical staff, and operators.
Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and operational availability of all plant equipment and heavy machinery (gantry cranes, handling equipment, curing systems).
Design and optimize the operation of the main storage area, including the inflow, storage, inventory control and outflow of critical materials.
Coordinate with the construction manager and the precast plant chief to ensure that resources (materials, segments) flow to the work front without creating bottlenecks.
Organize and manage all internal and external transport logistics, including the handling of heavy vehicles and the coordination of delivery routes.
Required Skills and Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in marine and/or precast yard engineering with equipment management exposure
Strong technical knowledge of heavy construction plant, equipment, and lifting systems used in precast segmental bridge construction
Relevant certifications in marine engineering or equipment management are an advantage
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

The Plant and Equipment Manager will be based in the Philippines and will be responsible for the overall coordination, planning, and management of the activities related to the staging area, precast fabrication and equipment. This role is critical in ensuring the strict compliance with the technical specifications, safety regulations, and quality control requirements throughout the installation process.
