What will you do?
As an Inspector of Works (Civil & Structural) at Aurecon, you will be a key player in ensuring that construction activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will be responsible for monitoring site works, conducting inspections, and supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure and building projects.
- Monitoring daily construction activities to ensure adherence to approved technical drawings and specifications.
- Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks.
- Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and method statements, and reporting discrepancies.
- Attending inspections and testing activities conducted by contractors and documenting results.
- Participating in site meetings and issuing site memos for non-compliant works.
- Supporting monthly progress claim verifications and variation orders.
- Maintaining accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress reports.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the site team.
- Holding a valid driving license for site mobility.

A relevant diploma and registration as an Inspector of Works with BEM.
At least 5 years of experience in civil and structural supervision, particularly in industrial or institutional developments.
Strong knowledge of data centre construction, precast structures, structural steel, and local construction practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and and BIM is preferred.
Strong communication skills Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD, both verbal and written
Good problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
A valid driving license.
