Act as the technical lead of the team, focused on designing, architecting, and overseeing all the team's projects
Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases across customer environments and geographies
Design and implement automated builds, testing, deployment, and rollback strategies
Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and workflows for cloud-based services
Build and maintain quality gates and validation frameworks to ensure release readiness
Collaborate with software developers, QA, customer support, and product teams to ensure high-quality delivery
Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues and assist with root cause analysis
Manage and optimize infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and vSphere environments
Build runbooks and documentation for internal teams and end users
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements during deployments
Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes, leveraging automation to ensure efficiency, reliability, and quality
Evaluate and implement new relevant technologies and tools
Mentor junior engineers
Assist and contribute to intra/inter-team planning

Experience debugging and deciphering network and/or endpoint device logs
Experience delivering and deploying cloud-based software as well as endpoint software

Position Overview and Objective
As a Senior Staff Devops Engineer within Arctic Wolf, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and seamless delivery of our Endpoint software across diverse platforms and environments.You will leverage DevOps and SRE practices to automate builds, testing, orchestrate deployments, and maintain production systems - from planning and coordination to deployment and support -- ensuring every release is robust and minimally disruptive. You will collaborate closely with our Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to guarantee release readiness and high-quality delivery with a heavy focus on automation, reliability, and quality assurance.
Experience & Requirements
15+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or equivalent role
2+ years of professional experience as a lead engineer/developer
Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) with a focus on deploying to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Demonstrable working knowledge and experience with Python for automation, build, and deployment tooling
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS and cloud networking concepts and architecture (VPCs, subnetting, routing, CDNs, load balancers, security groups)
Experience with Azure cloud platform and services
Experience with build tools and systems (e.g., Make, Bazel)
Experience preparing, reviewing and executing deployment plans, release plans, MOPs and rollback procedures for production environments
Proficiency across multiple operating systems and platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS; Intel, ARM)
Experience leading an Agile/Scrum team
Experience owning or orchestrating large-scale or enterprise software releases
Expertise in release automation and orchestration frameworks/tools
Strong understanding of release engineering principles and best practices
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC; e.g. Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS)
Experience with code quality and security tooling (e.g. SonarQube)
